we had a reservation and were told when we arrived that we would have a 20-30 minute wait before a table would be ready. okay we can look past that even tho we had the reservation. then after we were seated we waited 20 minutes for someone, no one ever came to take even a drink order. the hostess noticed and brought us waters which was appreciated, but for a place that had fantastic reviews we were beyond disappointed. this weekend was a planned getaway for us to have a nice dinner somewhere different and stay at a nice hotel. our hotel was amazing and the service at Apple Granny’s down the street was fantastic. April 26, 2021 Fun atmosphere, awesome food! The chicken sandwich is my favorite & I love the onion rings!! The prices are reasonable for how much food you get....its always plenty to bring half home and enjoy all over again!! Their burgers are obviously amazing too! We love Cask + Cow! Jen Florio
August 14, 2018 - My first impression was I loved the décor and open doors that allowed passerby's to peer in. My Waitress was bubbly, attentative, and super helpful. As a vegetarian going into a burger place I was a little worried There wouldn't be many options. She informed me of the in house Black bean burger that could be made like any of the specialty burgers on the menu. So I ordered the black bean, to be made like the Mexican style burger. I was displeased that it came with Chips for a $14 price tag, So I substituted fries with an additional charge. My fiancé ordered the burger with pb and bananas on it. Our food arrived and looked great! But after eating it I wasn't all that impressed. For a place that specializes in burgers, their veggie burger was nothing too grand. My Fiancé liked his burger- but wasn't all too impressed either. between our sodas and burgers our bill came to $50! We were shocked! We stopped in for a quick burger and left paying what we do on a typical date night dinner. I love the concept and the owner seemed very driven but the execution is not spot on yet, And the prices are a bit high. Regardless I think its a good addition to the village.

July 21, 2017 - Nothing short of amazing. From the food to the atmosphere to the service. Couldn't be more pleased to have a place this this not far from home!
I went with a group of ten people. We started at the bar, where the bartenders were busy but on top of their game, then as we were sat, the server was attentive. We ordered appetizers and shortly after our food was out. We shared a little bit of everything and there is not one bad thing to say about our experience! I highly recommend this to anyone who is hungry for an AMAZING burger or just for a little bite at the bar! We will be back!

August 12, 2017 - we had the Hot Tempered Elvis burger, classic burger, and the grilled chicken burger each was done to perfection... also had the truffle fries yummmm... and the wait staff was very friendly and bubbly
